 Not a "Body Solid" Mat August 27, 2010

As other reviewers have noted this is not a Body Solid mat. It is made by Super Mats. I'm not sure why Amazon doesn't correct this. I bought this mat for a recumbant exercise bike and it does the job. It is pretty thin and the texture on the surface is more than I expected. I was hoping this would be easy to wipe down after dropping sweat on it during a workout. If it were more smooth, like the Body Solid impage appears to be, I would have been happier. It works well under the bike and prevents it from walking while in use on our tile floors. If I got the Body Solid brand I would have given it 5 stars.

I read some of the other reviews and don't understand the complaints about a life time warranty, I wouldn't expect a lifetime warranty on a treadmill mat. At any rate, the website clearly says 1 Year Warranty, and that's for just defects etc, pretty much standard warranty for products nowadays, no surprises there.
The mat is excellent, fits my ProForm 590T treadmill perfectly, protects the carpet, it looks good, and it was promptly delivered.
I recommend this mat if it fits your exercise machine without any hesitation.

I received item well packaged and timely, just didn't get the opportunity to use. Treadmill didn't arrive for me to get any practical use of this mat.
